Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description:
Industrial Maintenance Technician installs, repairs and maintains our equipment and buildings through troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of service.
Responsibilities:
Produce products that are safe, legal, and with excellent quality Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements Repair pneumatic and hydraulic components and systems Maintain controls, values, and calibrations to make sure everything is functioning properly Make emergency repairs when necessary to off-set excessive down time and production delays Utilize root cause analysis techniques to identify and correct equipment failures Troubleshoot plant electrical issues and maintain all plant electrical equipment.
AC and DC troubleshooting skills are a must Use instructions or manuals on installations, systems layout, and changeovers to complete project work Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Must be able to physically handle the requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, spending working hours on your feet, etc.
Qualifications:
Regular, reliable, predictable attendance Minimum 2-years previous mechanical experience, including preventative repair in an industrial environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to read schematics and electrical diagrams Excellent communication skills Must be flexible to work extended hours to support the requirements of the business.
High school diploma or equivalent Offer will be contingent upon completion of drug screen and background check.
Pay is based on experience and skill level.
Pay includes a shift differential of $1.
50 for nights.
