McAirlaid's is seeking a top-quality candidate for the position of Maintenance Inventory Specialist.
The position includes simple maintenance activities that are essential to McAirlaid's operations to be carried out easily and safely on accessible components.
Essential Duties Assure that products being produced are safe, legal and with excellent quality Perform responsibilities while working safely producing quality product and maintaining clean production, maintenance and storage areas Serve as administrator for work order management system (Computerized Maintenance Management System - CMMS) Fully utilize CMMS capabilities in order to enable proper performance monitoring and develop Maintenance Master Plan Verify and maintain parts inventory, physically and electronically Confirm satisfactory completion of all maintenance work orders Develop knowledge within the maintenance team and leverage it for optimal performance by building and sharing a knowledge database to enhance job plans (inspection and execution) Collect drawings, manuals and other documents to assist Maintenance Manager with maintenance repairs or modifications Ability to assist maintenance team as needed Coordinate plant shutdowns to attain all essential schedules Mechanical background is necessary while electrical background is preferred (Apprenticeship program or technical school background is preferred but not required) Qualifications Regular, reliable, predictable attendance Must be able to work effectively in a team environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to provide simple and accurate instructions Excellent organizational, mathematical and planning skills Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Computerized Maintenance System (CMMS) Ability to define problems; collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables Demonstrated ability to read standard blueprints, machine and process drawings and have the ability to sketch or redline existing drawings Ability to manage multiple priorities or projects simultaneously and keep them progressing to completion Must be accurate and trustworthy with a positive attitude and embracing of change in a dynamic manufacturing environment Adherence to McAirlaid's safety policy Years of Experience / Education Level High School Diploma or GED Pay is based on experience and skill level.
