Rocky Mount, VA Rocky Mount, VA Full-time Full-time $50,000 - $65,000 a year $50,000 - $65,000 a year The Employee Relations Director role is responsible for providing strategic as well as hands-on support to the entire STEP team in all areas of Employee Relations including recruitment, onboarding, retention, policy creation and training, and overall HR compliance.
You will be the advocate for a positive employee experience and culture by having full responsibility for building and implementing policies and procedures that are fair and consistent, and proactively seeking out employee relations and compliance related issues through site visits, coaching, and education of our team.
This is a Director level position and you will work with STEP leadership to provide input on employee relations matters to help make strategic organizational decisions.
A successful candidate will demonstrate organizational acumen and an understanding of how employee relations impact the entire organization.
Minimum requirements for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree or above in Human Resources, understanding of employment law, at least 5-7 years of experience with developing and implementing Employee Relations strategies, excellent customer service skills, strong collaboration skills, and flexibility.
Professional certification in Human Resources required.
